Oboedire is for risk aware, community minded individuals of all experience levels and backgrounds who are interested in the ethical study, practice and advancement of BDSM, power exchange and fetish; as well as human sexuality, consent and interpersonal dynamics.

Some are, but not all!

We believe consent is active, informed, voluntary and ongoing. No dynamic, title or relationship removes the responsibility to obtain, maintain and respect consent.

We use vetting forms to gain insight of a person’s practices, basic knowledge , and indications that our tenets have been studied. 

Concerns about safety, consent, discrimination, misconduct or inappropriate behaviour will be taken seriously and managed fairly. We welcome raised concern and/or reporting of issues Via the incident report form found on the policy page

We absolutely welcome newcomers to many of our events.

Oboedire is committed to curating learning environments that are welcoming, inclusive and accessible.
Participants are encouraged to be transparent about any and all personal requirements and access needs before attending so that reasonable adjustments can be explored where possible.
Everyone learns differently. Asking for what you need is welcomed and respected. We pride ourselves on being able to offer modifications, alterations, and adjustments across our education, advice and venues.

Oboedire is also committed to curating a culture that is accessible to people with different access needs where possible.
Rapid Antigen Testing for viral illnesses is encouraged before attending shared spaces, and is wearing masks during, in order to include high risk community members, People with chronic illnesses or Immunosuppressed/Immunocompromised folk.
In addition we supply Biocides, PPE and other precautionary measures during events. Our main venue is accessible via standard wheelchair ( including bathroom facilities). We have further details on ticketing platforms.
Note We can only offer limited parking to ACROD permit holders. CARERS OF COMPANION CARD HOLDERS ALWAYS ATTEND FREE

We pay our facilitators and educators adequate compensation for their time and expertise, and provide more opportunities with accommodation partnerships for interstate educators to present in Perth
